William P. Ronan, III
Founder & Attorney
Mr. Ronan was born in Chicago and raised in, what is now considered, the inner city of Kansas City. He is a proud graduate of St. Therese Little Flower Grade School, Rockhurst High School, Washburn University and Washburn University School of Law.
Right out of law school, Mr. Ronan ran for County Attorney in Butler County, Kansas. His opponent was the President Elect of the Kansas District Attorney’s Association. With the help of his wife and many faithful volunteers, Mr. Ronan won the election and became the County Attorney in Butler County. In 1984, Mr. Ronan was hired as an Assistant District Attorney in Lawrence, Douglas County, Kansas. After a year in that position, Mr. Ronan was ready for a change.
After representing the State of Kansas and victims of crimes, Mr. Ronan was naturally drawn to represent people who had been harmed in accidents. He has been successfully toiling in those “fields of justice” since 1985.
Mr. Ronan and his wife, Nancy, have been married for 48 years. They are the proud parents of 3 adult children and the proud grandparents of 3 beautiful grandchildren.
When not practicing law, Mr. Ronan enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, working out and offering coaching advice to the Chiefs’ head coach and the Royals’ manager.
Samantha arbegast
Legal Assistant
Samantha Arbegast is a dedicated legal assistant to Mr. Ronan. Samantha was born in Bakersfield, California and moved to Kansas City for graduate school. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from the University of California: Davis. She graduated from UMKC with a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature in 2013. She currently lives in Lenexa, Kansas, and in her free time enjoys writing, exploring bookstores and building computers.
