Zostavax

Zostavax is a shingles vaccine manufactured by Merck. It is intended for the prevention of herpes zoster, which is more commonly known as the shingles virus. Zostavax can cause the development of a viral infection and/or a reoccurring strain of shingles leading to hospitalizations and chronic nerve pain. This chronic nerve pain is called post-herpetic neuralgia, which may be more difficult to treat. Viral illnesses are not one of the risks the Center for Disease Control mentions for this vaccine.

At The Ronan Law Firm, we represent clients in the Greater Kansas City area and throughout Kansas and Missouri who have been harmed by Zostavax. We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your case.
